Hotel Theory Exhibition Design

Worked with REDCAT Gallery Director Ruth Estevez to realize an exhibition designed by artist Liam Gillick. Claret-Cup detailed and designed exhibition furniture for video monitors and documents following the curator’s directive to achieve a minimalist, “single line sketch” look for the finished pieces. The furniture, fabricated by LA Fabrica Makes, complements the office-style curtain system, also coordinated by Claret-Cup, that create a flexible but intentionally antiseptic environment for the performances of contributing artists.
